Sofie Sol Studio is the independent fashion practice of Copenhagen-based designer Sofie Sol Sjostrand. Her garments combine considered silhouettes with handmade embellishments and detailed finishing. The work explores the balance between lasting elegance and a more playful use of sculptural shapes and unexpected details. Pieces are designed in Copenhagen and produced in small quantities or to order, using materials that include deadstock fabrics. Craftsmanship and the experience of wearing a garment remain central to the design process. Through the studio's collection and project enquiries, she develops clothing intended to express personality while remaining something the wearer can keep and value over time.
