The Array is an independent London womenswear label founded by designer Yvonne Lim. Its collections revisit shirts, dresses and tailored separates through sculptural construction and a balance of structure and fluidity. The label developed from Lim's master's work in Fashion Womenswear at the Royal College of Art and subsequent participation in the InnovationRCA programme. Design and local production are connected closely, with pieces made and presented within a compact area of London. Bias cutting, considered tailoring and practical comfort inform garments intended to work beyond a single season. The portfolio includes collections, material information and studio writing that explain the decisions behind the clothes.
