S J Millar is an independent fashion designer and maker working from a studio in Glasgow. Her practice includes accessories, bespoke garments and stagewear, combining animal-print references with simple silhouettes. Pieces are handmade in small batches or to order, with a stated focus on reducing fabric waste and making items that remain useful over time. The current collection includes clutch bags, tote bags and homeware, alongside custom clothing and performance pieces. Bespoke garment projects involve fittings so the design can be developed for the individual wearer. Her portfolio also reflects an interest in slow fashion and zero-waste approaches rather than large-scale seasonal production.
