Lora Shtirkova is a Bulgarian typeface designer working across Latin and Cyrillic scripts as a freelance collaborator with studios and foundries. Her services cover planning, drawing, expanding, spacing, kerning, proofing and preparing font families for production, as well as specimens and typographic layouts. Beyond fonts, she designs custom wordmarks, brand typography, mural lettering and calligraphic work for events, exhibitions and personal commissions. Shtirkova completed the Type and Media master's programme at the Royal Academy of Art in 2022, and her Rubina family received recognition from the Gerard Unger Scholarship and the GRANSHAN competition. Her professional work has included Bulgarian Cyrillic development for IBM Plex in collaboration with Bold Monday and ongoing freelance type-design work with Blast Foundry.
