panGenerator is a new media art and design collective based in Warsaw, working across art, design and engineering since 2010. Its practice connects digital processes with physical objects to create installations that respond to their audiences. Projects range from large interactive commissions for cultural institutions and commercial brands to experimental musical interfaces and speculative artworks. The portfolio includes Apparatus, which joins a digital interface to analogue sound, and Hash2Ash, an installation that turns visitors' selfies into ash. Other works use kinetic structures, light and data to make complex subjects tangible in public and exhibition spaces. Alongside commissioned and experimental production, the members teach workshops and give lectures on new media art and technology.
