Daniel Mencel is a furniture designer and maker based in Silesia, Poland. His practice connects workshop craftsmanship with architectural thinking, treating furniture pieces as objects within a wider spatial setting. Design, development and production remain in-house, allowing direct control over form, materials and construction. He works with traceable solid hardwoods, hand-cut joints and hand-finished surfaces, releasing pieces in limited series. His LCH-33 armchair received an Honourable Mention in the Silesian Voivodeship's Architecture of the Year 2025 competition. Alongside the collection, the studio accepts enquiries about bespoke commissions and architectural projects.
