Nino Basilashvili is an artist and researcher working in the Netherlands with participatory installations, performance and new media. Her practice explores collectivity through live information gathered from participants, connecting individual bodily responses with a shared experience. At Creating 010, Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, she works at the intersection of artistic research and technology. HEARTSYNC investigates group connection through physiological signals and the rhythms of participants' heart rates. The project brings biofeedback into an installation setting and has been developed through research and residency contexts, including Katoenhuis in Rotterdam. Her work treats interaction as more than a visual effect: it is a way to make relationships, attention and collective states perceptible.
