Sofia Malemina is a London-based multimedia artist working with video, audio, virtual reality and interactive installations. Her practice investigates psychological and existential questions through immersive environments rather than conventional commercial imagery. She completed a first-class fine art degree at Central Saint Martins, where she developed work connecting moving images, sound and digital space. Projects such as Abiogenesis explore theories of primordial life through augmented reality, symbolic natural forces and visual perception. Her portfolio also includes Equilibrium, an audiovisual loop created with Blender and developed in collaboration with redozuba. Across these projects, technology becomes a means of examining how an audience experiences uncertainty, presence and the boundaries between real and constructed worlds.
