Jo Davies is a ceramic artist specialising in wheel-thrown porcelain, with a studio in Hereford near the Welsh border. She makes tableware, vases, pendant lighting and individual sculptural vessels, forming every piece herself on the potter's wheel. Her approach emphasises tactile shapes that retain a sense of softness after firing, balancing smooth surfaces with weight and structure. A Royal College of Art MA graduate, she has designed ceramic collections for Mulberry and Union Coffee and exhibits internationally. Her work is held in the permanent collection of the Cheongju International Craft Competition, and her practice has received support from the Crafts Council and Arts Council England. Alongside her own collections and commissions, she offers specialist tuition and individual wheel-throwing masterclasses.
