RENSE is a Dutch design practice based in Groningen, producing furniture and objects in small editions. Its founder studied product design and worked in industry before establishing a practice focused on simple forms, material character and hand finishing. The studio relates this approach to a family interest in Danish design and to furniture chosen for long use rather than frequent replacement. Its About page states that each object is designed in the Netherlands, produced locally and limited to no more than thirty examples per year. The collection includes shelving, a bowl, a table and display objects, while the Concept Lab presents designs that are still being tested and refined. Pieces are assembled and finished by hand, linking the studio's limited production model with its emphasis on keeping objects over time.
