Rainer Spehl is a Berlin-based designer working across furniture, objects and commissioned interior pieces. He studied furniture design at the Royal College of Art and has developed a practice in which function is often paired with an unexpected structural or material detail. The portfolio ranges from tables and storage to one-off solutions for private and commercial spaces, showing a consistent interest in construction and daily use. Spehl works at different scales without losing the directness of an object made for a particular need. His studio accepts commissions and collaborations that benefit from close development between idea, prototype and finished piece.
