Pierre Granier is a Brussels-based furniture designer with experience shaped by work and study in France, Italy and Argentina. His practice investigates how familiar objects can gain a distinct identity through proportion, construction and an attentive use of material. Local, reused and readily understandable materials are central to the process, allowing environmental choices to become part of the design rather than an added claim. The portfolio includes furniture, objects and experimental pieces developed through drawing, prototyping and direct making. Granier approaches commissions and collaborations with an interest in useful forms that retain a clear story of how and from what they were made.
