Aidan Donovan is a Manchester-based furniture designer and maker specialising in bespoke pieces and architectural joinery. His practice gives particular attention to British timber, responsible sourcing and the character of each material rather than treating wood as a neutral surface. Traditional workshop skills are combined with a restrained contemporary design language to create furniture intended for long use. The portfolio covers individual commissions as well as fitted work, with decisions carried from early design through making and finishing. Donovan works directly with clients who value durable objects, thoughtful details and a close relationship between form and construction.
