Jasper Morrison is a British product designer based in London, where he opened his Office for Design in 1986. He studied at Kingston Polytechnic, the Royal College of Art and Berlin's HdK before developing a practice spanning furniture, lighting, tableware and everyday objects. His studio also works on kitchen products, sanitary ware, electronics and appliances, collaborating with manufacturers internationally. Morrison's stated aim is to make objects that sit naturally within daily surroundings, an approach explored in the Super Normal exhibition he organised with Naoto Fukasawa in Japan in 2006. Alongside commissioned design, he has published books with Lars Müller Publishers and runs an adjacent London shop that presents his own work together with products selected from around the world.
