Sokpop Collective is a group of four game designers based in Utrecht who have been making games together since 2017. Its catalogue ranges from the card-stacking village builder Stacklands and the card-based god game Simmiland to the science-fiction exploration game Bernband. The collective built a subscription model around a regular stream of small games, reaching one hundred releases after beginning that programme in 2018. Its official membership page describes a subsequent plan to make another hundred games without the earlier monthly deadlines. Releases are distributed with Steam and itch.io keys, while a higher membership tier provides source code for educational use. The studio website presents its members and projects through an interactive collection of illustrated bubbles.
