Studio Mito is a London weave studio established in 2020 and based at Cockpit Arts in Deptford. Run by textile and product designer Millie, it specialises in silk Jacquard fabrics for interiors and fashion, alongside a collection of soft furnishings and cloth sold by the metre. The studio develops bespoke designs woven at a British mill and offers handwoven sampling and lengths of cloth in narrow and wide widths. Its services also include consultancy on colour, trends, woven structures and technical textile development. Millie studied woven textile design at Central Saint Martins and subsequently worked for a mill near Lake Como, gaining experience of taking designs into larger-scale manufacture. Studio Mito's fabrics are designed in London and woven in the UK, with commissions, collaborations and freelance design forming part of the practice.
