Issy Oakes is a photographer working from a studio in West London, with a practice spanning food, drinks, flowers, interiors and still life. Her official biography describes fifteen years of studio experience and work for established brands as well as independent and start-up businesses. Assignments supply images for advertising, supermarket packaging, product launches, restaurant menus, websites, social media and press events. She photographs food and still-life subjects in the studio and also works on location in restaurants and interior spaces. Much of her editorial photography uses available natural light, with flash lighting introduced when a commission calls for it. Her digital equipment also supports the image sizes required for billboard campaigns.
