Andrea Arevalo is a freelance commercial and editorial photographer based in Bilbao, Spain, after previously working in Oakland. She specialises in still life, products, food and portraits, with additional work as a videographer and director of photography. Her video work includes documenting nonprofit projects around the world with 100cameras and shooting social media campaigns. From 2020 to 2023, she was a founding contributor to By And For, a Bay Area BIPOC photography collective that donated services to local BIPOC businesses. She is Cuban-Venezuelan American, originally from Miami, and speaks Spanish fluently. She is also a member of Diversify Photo, Women Photograph and Authority Collective, and a founding member of The Luupe.
