PixelResort is the one-person design studio of Danish designer Michael Flarup, established in 2007. Its commissioned work spans app icons, logos, illustrations and interfaces, with a particular emphasis on app-icon and logo projects. The studio works with individual developers, small teams and larger companies, and its portfolio includes icons for software such as Kaleidoscope, Procreate and Working Copy. Flarup describes the visual direction of the practice as vibrant and playful, grounded in detailed graphic craft and the relationship between artwork and practical use. Alongside this freelance practice, he runs the game studio Northplay and produces design resources, writing, videos and conference talks.
