Andrea Lauren is a British-American printmaker based in southeastern North Carolina. She creates hand-carved linocuts influenced by traditional folk music, quilt history and the landscapes of the American South. Her Songs from the Hollow series explores North Carolina's musical heritage through relief printing and references to Appalachian craft traditions. Alongside limited-edition fine-art prints, she is the author of Block Print, an introductory guide to linocut techniques published in 2016. Her artwork has also been licensed commercially, and she has been a top-selling artist on Spoonflower. Publishing work includes cover illustrations for The Glovemaker and The Witch's Book of Rituals, both listed in her portfolio with 2019 publication dates.
