Richard Funnell is an independent industrial designer based in Portland, Maine, specialising in 3D rendering and animation workflows. He studied industrial design at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and developed cooking products before moving into visualisation and technical training. His practice supports design, colour-and-material and packaging teams with concept images, production assets and marketing content. He also helps companies refine rendering pipelines and has extensive experience with KeyShot, Siemens NX and Blender. The portfolio combines client work for consumer technology and other product sectors with personal modelling projects, explaining his role in both images and animated presentations.
