Ross Whillis is a freelance industrial designer with more than twelve years of experience supporting startups, inventors, manufacturers and in-house design teams. He works across research, concept development, 3D CAD, prototyping, testing and design for manufacture. The portfolio spans consumer products, tools, audio equipment, pet products, structural packaging and retail displays. His process combines early exploration with practical modelling and prototypes used to evaluate a design before production. He also creates product visualisations and animations for presentations and marketing. Technical work draws on SolidWorks and other CAD and 3D tools to develop concepts into manufacturable components and assemblies.
