Hester Cox is a printmaker based in the Yorkshire Dales, UK, with more than thirty years of printmaking experience following her illustration degree. She works primarily with collagraph, linocut and monotype, while continuing to experiment with other print processes and techniques. The landscape and wildlife around her studio provide subjects for work that develops through drawing, observation and the physical process of inking and printing a plate. Her studio journal documents projects, research and the ideas behind individual prints, including an extended exploration of skylarks and their cultural history. She exhibits regularly and sells through galleries around the UK. Her linked portfolio provides further information about prints and workshops, with contact available through its enquiry form.
