Leon Hugues is a British-French type designer and lettering specialist based in Paris. His work spans typefaces, wordmarks, logos and calligraphy, bringing together systematic font design and the direct gesture of hand-drawn letters. With postgraduate training in type design and experience teaching, he approaches projects through both close formal analysis and practical communication needs. The portfolio shows letters functioning at different scales, from distinctive marks to complete typographic systems. Hugues collaborates with studios, brands and cultural clients that need a specific voice rather than an off-the-shelf typographic solution.
