Benedetta Bellemo is an Italian illustrator based in Paris. Her work moves between editorial illustration, children's publishing and large-format applications such as murals, using bold shapes, limited colour palettes and playful visual metaphors. Before concentrating on illustration, she worked in energy policy, a background that contributes to her interest in explaining ideas and social themes through accessible images. Her portfolio includes commissioned pieces as well as personal work, with characters and simplified forms carrying much of the narrative. Bellemo is available for publishing, cultural and commercial projects that need a warm, graphic and immediately readable visual language.
