Elena Schneider is a German independent type designer with a background in visual communication and a master's degree focused on type design. Her work includes original typefaces, custom fonts, lettering-related identity elements and the technical refinement needed to bring a family into production. She also supports other designers through font mastering, combining visual sensitivity with attention to spacing, language coverage and consistency. Teaching and lecturing form another part of her practice, connecting professional type work with research and education. Schneider collaborates with studios, foundries and organisations that need typography built for a specific voice and practical use.
