Studio Mariscat is the independent jewellery and casting practice founded by Emma Murray in Glasgow in 2024. Murray designs and makes small batches of statement earrings, necklaces and brooches, using an intuitive approach to casting and finishing. Jesmonite is central to the collections, providing a light material with a matte surface and sculptural presence, while other ranges explore silver and bioplastic. Her background in architecture and a degree from the Glasgow School of Art inform an interest in strong geometry, vivid colour and patterns observed in everyday surroundings. The practice welcomes commissions and creative collaborations, and offers a wholesale catalogue to prospective stockists. Its work centres on expressive jewellery intended to bring colour and tactile detail into daily wear.
