Dalin Nelson is a Los Angeles-based independent filmmaker and commercial photographer. His film work spans directing, producing, unit production management and assistant directing for narrative, branded and commercial projects. He holds a BFA in Directing from Columbia College Chicago and has managed multi-location shoots involving performers, stunt vehicles, animals and tight schedules. He led the team behind the short film 2008, which received the Audience Choice Award at NFFTY in 2025. His production services include call sheets, permits, talent coordination and scheduling. Alongside filmmaking, he creates editorial, travel and landscape photographs, with work published by magazines and tourism organisations.
