Nicholas Jay is an Ontario-licensed architect running a sole-practitioner commercial practice in Toronto. Established in 2017, the practice works across office, retail, warehouse and childcare projects in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton area. Much of his work concerns existing operating buildings, where building-code requirements, approvals and continuity of use shape the design brief. He collaborates with property managers, business owners, contractors and interior designers on coordinated drawings and design execution. The practice combines attention to circulation and natural materials with the technical demands of regulated facilities, providing a direct point of contact throughout a project.
