Katie Hastings is a licensed residential architect and sole practitioner based in Austin, Texas. She studied architecture at the University of Texas at Austin and began her career in commercial interior architecture in Austin and Seattle. After returning to Austin, she established a design practice in 2013, later refocusing it as Katie Hastings Architecture. Her services extend from feasibility discussions and schematic design through pricing, permit and construction drawings. She can also support the relationship between homeowner and builder during construction. Projects often combine modern detailing with more traditional elements, with natural light and practical household needs informing the design.
