Office S&M is a London architecture and interior-design practice working across homes, housing, workspaces and public-realm projects. The studio divides its work between public and private clients, bringing experience with councils and developers into projects for individual homeowners. Its approach combines consultation, playful testing and careful iteration to shape spaces around the people who use them. Natural and recycled materials, low-carbon construction and the reuse of existing buildings are recurring concerns. Colour is treated as a practical means of changing the atmosphere and experience of a space rather than as an afterthought. The portfolio includes residential infill, nursery retrofits, workspace conversions and community-focused projects designed for different generations.
