Alex Birks is an independent brand and packaging designer based in Sheffield, operating as a one-person studio. He works directly with clients from the initial brief through design development, bringing in trusted collaborators when a project needs additional support. Packaging services include brand development, label design and print-production work, alongside strategy, visual identity and brand guidelines. His portfolio includes packaging for candles, nutritional products and other consumer goods, as well as music and hospitality projects. Curiosity and play are central to his process, with time given to testing ideas and building a consistent visual direction. He also offers websites, digital campaign assets and editorial design when those elements form part of a broader launch or identity system.
